It all started when Sarah woke up. She had gotten a ship reserved for her and her 3 friends. Zephyr, Stephanie, and Luke. A crew accompanies them, all in all, there is about 52 people. She pulls on a light blue bikini and pulls some white shorts and a black loose tee over her body. Her tee is a size too big for her, and hangs over her gently, swaying in the gentle breeze coming from her window. She finishes her outfit with black flip-flops. She snatches the keys to her ice blue Ferrari. Hearing the jingling of her keys made her smile. Today is going to be a great day.... Or is it? She dashes out the door, slamming it accidentally behind her. Her hair flows elegantly behind her as she did so. Her ice blue eyes dotted with gold flecks gleam under the hot rays of golden sunlight. The curls of her fiery red hair fall delicately and evenly over her shoulders, glowing like wild fire. This day was supposed to be all fun and games. But what she didn't know is that they'll get stranded on an island where thousands of people have gone missing....
She gets in her car and drives to Zephyr's house. Once there she parks in his driveway and he comes out. His black hair gleaming under the sunlight, making it look slick, and shine. Hmmm, what conditioner does he use? His purple and gray eyes shine happily. He jogs to her car and gets in on the passenger side.
"So Ms. Sarah where's Stephanie and Luke?" He asks, his eyes glittering with amusement.
Sarah smiles, chuckling at his question, "Well if you must know, they're at the dock getting everything situated."
"Alright, sounds good!" He responds. Sarah ignited the engine and it comes to life with a gentle purr as she looks in her rear view mirror and backs out.
"Hey! You managed to miss my garbage cans this time!" Zephyr exclaims in a joking tone.
"Haha! You're soo funny!" She responds with a smile.
"I would sure hope so! I mean, it means a lot coming from you." He says sweetly before leaning over to kiss her cheek. Sarah blushes at this and smiles. Zephyr winks at her, giving her one of his prize winning side smiles, as he puts his arm out the window. After about a ten-minute drive, they get to the dock. Many smiling faces of the crew greet them. Sarah steps out of the car, in rhythm, in sync with Zephyr. Zephyr brushes her hand, gesturing to take her hand. Sarah accepts and holds his hand gently. She felt his thumb gently stroke her hand. Sarah and Zephyr are the ideal picture of a couple, they are the picture perfect couple. They greet the staff, meeting them, shaking their hands, smiling, etc.
"The captain is Bob. He will be taking us to our destinations." Stephanie says, holding Luke's hand gently. Luke leaned over and kissed her on the cheek gingerly. After about thirty minutes everyone docks the rather large ship. Sarah and Stephanie sit in the front as Zephyr and Luke sit in the back. When the engine roars to life they take off. Sarah's fiery red hair flows gracefully behind her, as Stephanie's golden blond hair elegantly blows behind her. Stephanie's blue-green eyes shimmer under the sunlight as her flawless face glows. The light blue water gleams as the sun hits it. But as everyone says, it is all fun and games until someone gets hurt. The sky suddenly darkens and Sarah followed by Stephanie looks up. Sarah cocks her head, narrowing her eyes in confusion.
"The weather cast didn't say anything about there being storms today..." She says trailing off confused. The captain began to turn the ship around, but the ship went forward, deeper into the storm instead. Sarah soon sees a sudden, and blinding flash of white. Her ears began to fill with the cackling of Lucifer's laugh.
His raspy voice saying "You fools! You will now join all of the other burning souls in hell!". Sarah winces when ear shattering, skull splitting screams of dying women and children burst her eardrums. She clenches her jaw, her face instantly losing color, and all of her blood draining from her body, running cold. Her face became whiter than a sheet. Zephyr comes up next to her and held her close. Sarah leans against him, shaking violently in fear.
"Zephyr, wh-what's going on? I-I'm scared." She pleads. Her eyes fade colors, now light baby blue in shear fear and terror. She grabs his arm, the vile stench of burning bodies filling their noses. Sarah began to fill dizzy, her hearing failing, only hearing static. She could only mutter jibberish, her speaking ability leaving her for the moment. A wave of nausea hits her, and before Zephyr could respond to her, everything goes black...
-Chapter Two-
Light floods her eyes and Sarah groans rubbing her head. She sits up and groans again. She touches a specific part on her head, and she winces greatly, letting out a slight yelp in pain. She brought her hand back, red. Her head is bleeding. She blinks, and looks around, seeing Zephyr, Stephanie, and Luke as well as the rest of the crew. Wait. No... Where's Bob, the captain? She sits up and crawls over to Zephyr.
"Zephyr. Wake up. Please! Wake up!" She says shaking him. He doesn't move... Tears now streaming down her face. Her cheeks fluster red, and the hot salty tears sting her chapped, dry, and bleeding lips.
"Zephyr. No." She whispers, rasping out of her dry throat sadly. She stumbles back hit by a wave of shock and sadness. That's when she realizes the scene. Ship crashed on a rock and on fire. Bodies scattering the area, dead or alive. She hears more screams of terror and death. Lucifer's cruel echo's in her ears. She screams bloody murder when the body of the captain falls right infront of her, nearly landing in her lap. She screams louder, and scrambles back. He is missing his head... and his hands? Yes, his hands.
"It has only just begun dear Sarah." Lucifer's raspy voice shouts, followed by his cruel, penetrating laugh. By now Sarah is petrified and shaking. She hugs her knees to her chest, putting her head in her legs, her forehead resting on her knees. She sobs, feeling alone. She feels a gentle hand being placed on her back. She flinches, afraid and she slowly looks up. Zephyr. Her eyes widen and she jumps up, throwing herself into his arms. She began to sob into his chest, He wraps his arms protectively, securely around her back. One of his hands gently strokes the back of her head, running his fingers through her tangled, but still silky hair.
"Shhh. I know baby girl. I know." He whispers softly cradling her closer. Together, finally at last in one another's arms. Together. Forever. Sarah hears his gentle coo's and she feels him gently press his lips to her head.
"We're going to be okay. I promise." He whispers in Sarah's ear, his lips brushing her neck slightly. She picks her head up to look up at him, gazing into his rare purple eyes; She kisses him gently, staying in his arms. Her eyes flicker to movement and she tenses, feeling Zephyr's grip tighten on her. Luke, Stephanie, and what looks like the rest of the crew come out of the shadows. Cuts, bruises, scratches, burns, and all, but still alive. She gives a sigh of relief; relief flooding over her once concerned face. She smiles faintly, weakly at them, though her smile wavers. Luke's once golden, spiky hair is now dark brown, and is streaked with red blood in it. His once loving, calm, eyes that seemed to shine are now dull and hardened. The way his face once beamed, and the way his smile once danced acrossed his face is now emotionless, his lips pressed tightly together in a straight grim line. Stephanie's once flawless face now has a gaping cut on her cheek and her eyes are sad. Her once sheek hair is now knotted, gnarled, and dyed red with blood as well. Zephyr wasn't quite a looker at the moment himself. His eyes seemed colorless and were only soft towards Sarah. He has a left black eye and a huge bruise on his left cheek. Zephyr has a long but no so deep cut on his right cheek. Sarah, she is a mess all together. Her hair once an elegant light red, now a deep maroon red. Her once curly, soft, and brushed out hair is now straight, snarled, and tangled. Her eyes once glittering ice blue, now a faded, emotionless, graying, baby blue color. Her cheeks stained with the trails of her tears. Sarah shivers from the freezing water. Zephyr stands up, holding his hand out for Sarah to take. She happily takes his hand, Zephyr pulling her into him, wrapping his arms around her chest securely, protectively.
"Alright people! We're clearly not alone! We're going to need to work together to stay alive! We don't know what dangers are ahead for us! We must stick together! Choose a buddy, and stick with them at all times!" Zephyr calls out for everyone to hear. Everyone mumbles in agreement.
"And out captain is dead." He adds in emotionless, pale, and his eyes hard, giving nothing out. That one hit everyone hard. The captain, dead? His best friend, Fred, held it in, but his eyes became glassy, and you knew. Fred's face saddened and he gulps his throat now dry. Sarah felt bad for him. He was a single man. He was handsome, nice, caring, a leader. He had no one to love, but he held so much potential.
"I know a proper burial for him." Sarah barely managed to croak out. They all look at her with sad but expecting eyes. She gulps, taking a deep breath, and says, "We build a raft, wrap him up in some kind of cloth, put him on the raft, set it on fire, and send it out to sea with our prayers and blessings." Zephyr rubs Sarah's shoulder and nods. Everyone eventually agrees with her.
"Okay! We need to go into the forest! Everyone stick together with the group, and your buddy!" Luke calls out. Everyone chooses a buddy.
"Uhmm.... Sarah? Where's Breanna, Megan, and Becky?" Stephanie asks, with worry in her eyes, and in her tone. Sarah looks around frantically.
"Oh no...." She says, looking at Zephyr worriedly.
"We'll find them. Let's do one thing at a time." Zephyr announces. Everyone nods in agreement. Zephyr forces on a smile and takes a deep breath. He gently takes Sarah's hand, rubbing the top of her hand gently with his thumb.
"Okay! Now does every-" He gets cut off by three ear piercing screams coming from the forest. Zephyr let's go of Sarah's hand and takes off running into the forest. His eyes scanning the forest wickedly, his adrenaline pumping, Sarah is right behind him, on his heels. He suddenly stops in his tracks, eyes wide, mouth gaping. Sarah almost runs into him, managing to run to the side before stopping as well. Zephyr falls to his knees, ducking his head. His eyes closing, his long black eyelashes getting tangled in one another as his long bangs fall over his eyes, hiding the emotion on his face slightly, cascading shadows over him. Sarah gags, soon doubling over, puking. There they are. Becky, Breanna, and Megan all hung. Their blond hair falling passed their faces. Their faces are pale and cold. Their once white flowing dresses fall lifelessly at their sides. Their white flats are neatly next one another under their bodies. Over them hangs a sign. The sign says, 'It has only just begun.'
"The words are written in blood." Sarah says, in a sickly tone, her face pale, whiter than a ghost. Wait, blood, let me get that right. Blood? Yes blood, but their hung, not bleeding.
"But they aren't bleeding... At all. Not even a scratch." Responds Zephyr quietly, guilt in his tone. He had previously gone out with Megan before Sarah.
"I know. That's what I am afraid of." Sarah says. Zephyr comes behind her, and pulls her into his warm, built body. Wrapping his arms around her stomach protectively, securely around her.
"I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise, on my life." He whispers in her ear, his eyelashes brushing the side of her right cheek as the words danced into her ears. His lips brushed her ear softly. He could feel her uneasiness, and he didn't like his Russian Princess down, hurt, alone, scared, not ever. He hated seeing her like this, resulting him in only pulling her closer to him. Sarah backs into his body, letting his arms coil tighter, but loose slightly around her.
"I know you won't." She whispers back to him softly, terror in her eyes and in her tone. Zephyr gently kisses the top of her head, and reluctantly pulls away from her, only wanting to hug her all day, and all night, 24/7. He gently grabs her hand, lacing their fingers together. They would send them off on a raft as well, with Bob, as soon as they got them down, later they would, later. Zephyr pulls Sarah close to his side, now insanely protectively. They would out of the forest side by side, seeing the many worried and pale faces of the others.
"Did you find them?!" Stephanie and Luke ask at the same time, rather loudly. Sarah and Zephyr glance at eachother, before Zephyr and Sarah nod, numbly, shakily.
"Well where are they then?!" Luke exclaims, clearly anxious, and worried. His eyes scan them wickedly, noticing the pain on their faces, and he knows instantly something is wrong.
"Luke they didn't make it. They were hung." Zephyr says taking a shaky, uneven breath.
"What!?" Luke and Stephanie scream at the same time again.
"They didn't make it." Sarah repeats in a whisper, sadness in her eyes and in her tone. Luke yells angrily, clenching his jaw. He puts his hands behind his head angrily, running his fingers through his hair slightly, storming off. Tears roll down Stephanie's hot, flustered cheeks, and she whirls around, running after Luke, her tears streaming behind her as she ran. Reaching him, Stephanie began to comfort him, hugging him sadly. Tears began to stream down Sarah's cheeks, now, silently.
"It's all my fault." Sarah whispers, nearly choking on her tears. Zephyr wipes away her tears and hugs her tightly.
"Not it's not." He whispers in her ear softly, his lips brushing her neck.
"But I am the one who brought us here. I am the one who set up everything up Zephyr. It is all of my fault." She says lowly. Silent tears stream down her face once again. Zephyr wipes them away again calmly, patiently, listening to her. He turns her towards him and gently rests his forehead against hers. His gentle eyes look into hers, trying to comfort her, calm her down.
"Shhh," He purrs softly. "Baby girl. You couldn't have possibly have known this was going to happen. It is not your fault, we just need to calm down, relax, and find food and water. I need you to focus so I know you're okay." He says softly.
"Baby girl, I need you more than I have ever needed you before. You are my little Russian Princess after all." He says softly. He wraps his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him, pulling her into a tight and close hug. "Please, for me?" He adds in calmly. Sarah takes a deep shaky breath.
"Okay Zephyr. For you." She says. Zephyr smiles widely, showing his perfect white grin.
"There's my girl! Never one to give up. First one on the battlefield, and the last one to get off. What do we do first?" Zephyr asks. Sarah pulls out of his hug and draws all, or what's rest of the crew to listen.
"I know this is may sound dangerous...., but we need to get whatever we can, or whatever is left on the ship. Parts of the ship can be used to act as shelter. We can also try to get food and liquids possible, and any first aid supplies off of it. Whatever you can carry, bring it." She says. Some people argue, yelling at her, calling her nasty names, but Luke and Zephyr take care of that really really fast. Sarah shrugged it off, shaking her head slightly. She began to walk towards the ship when Zephyr gently grabs her forearm.
"Sarah I need you here with me, I need to know you're okay." He says, his eyes and his tone pleading her to stay. Sarah smiles at him warmly, a real smile.
"Okay. Anything for you honey." She says, making Zephyr smile, his face brightening up.
"I love you Sarah. I love you so much." He says sweetly, gently.
"I love you too hun. I love you more than ever." She responds. She kisses him softly and Zephyr smiles, kissing her back lovingly, deeply, passionately. They break the kiss, but they don't leave one another's arms.
"I think I saw a map when we were running into the forest." Sarah says.
"And....?" Zephyr asks, clearly confused.
"We should go get it. Fake or not, we can always make our own on the other side." Sarah says. Zephyr smiles widely, his eyes widening.
"You my dear, are a freaking genius!" He exclaims, his forehead still against hers, his arms still protectively around her.
"Tell me something I don't know." Sarah teases. Zephyr smiles, chuckling warmly.
"Alright, since you're already a genius. That's going to be pretty, no, insanely hard." Zephyr smiles at her warmly. Sarah smiles back at him, and kisses his cheek gently. She turns to walk to the post with the map on it. Sarah looks over it, it is in Russian. Good thing she can speak Russian. Zephyr comes behind her, wrapping his arms behind her.
"What the hell?" He asks, clearly not able to read Russian.
"The map is in Russian." Sarah says. She begins to read it out loud for Zephyr to hear, "The Island's name is Beelzebub? Huh, that's interesting. Anyway, there's a lake called Crimson, good a source of water. A forest named Desdemona, maybe some wild game in there for us to hunt, the forest sounds pretty." She says, not realizing the forest was the one where her three fallen mates still hung.
-Chapter Three-
"Moving on, a river named Shadow, great! Another source of water! And finally, a cave names.... Hades? Huh, that's awkward. Well... I guess we could use it for shelter Anyway, let's go back to the others and see how they're coming along." She says, taking the map with her. Zephyr wraps his arm sideways around her waist, and gently pulls her close to him, feeling her uneasiness come back. He knew she was worrying about her family, pets, and friends.
"Don't worry, we'll escape. I promise." He whispers. *Zephyr, you're promising a lot of things now a days... It would be a shame if you couldn't fulfill your promises...*
They walk back walking about what to do. When they get back, they notice the rest of the crew has gotten a rather large supply of items. Sarah smiles slightly, the best she could as Zephyr gently kisses her head. Sarah narrows her eyes at something shiny glinting in the water. She untangles herself from Zephyr’s arms and walks to the water’s edge.
“Sarah! Don’t get too close!” Zephyr shouts, worry in his eyes and in his face along with his tone. She just waves him off and kneels down and puts her hand in the water and reaches all the way down, but feels nothing. She shrugs, and stands up. She turns around and takes one step forward before something comes out of the water, black, long, snake like. It hisses, and it’s arms grab Sarah’s leg. She screams and flies to the ground, her nails digging into the sand, sand going under her nails, making them bleed. She leaves trails from her nails in the sand. Zephyr lunges forward, grabbing her hands and pulls back. The black Serpentine laughs, and digs its claws into Sarah’s leg. Sarah lets go of one of Zephyr’s hands and pulls out her handgun. She points it towards the Serpentine’s head and smiles,
“Mahala Mother-“ and she shoots 10 bullets in-between it’s eyes. Black goop like blood sprays her face and the thing screams, and it’s lifeless body falls into the water with a splash, falling down under the black seas. Sarah puts her handgun away and winces.
“Stay laying down.” Zephyr says softly, and Sarah listens. He takes his shirt off, wrapping his shirt around her, his eight-pack showing and his muscles flexing unwillingly as he did so. Sarah winces and smiles gratefully at him, as he gently picks her up,
“Shh baby girl you’re okay. I got you.” He coaxes in her ear softly. She rests her head on his left peck as he walks her over to the others, staring at them with shocked, astounded, and scared faces. Luke and Stephanie cuss and push through the crowd with a first aid kit. Zephyr lays Sarah on some towels they managed to find and they unwrap his shirt from her leg. There are four puncture wounds, two in her calf, and two in her thigh. They’re deep and she is still bleeding. Luke gets a make shift string and needle and he looks at Sarah for her okay. She takes Zephyr’s hand, closing her eyes and leaning her head against him as he sits next to her, and she nods. Luke plunges the long ragged needle into her skin, Sarah wincing, gripping Zephyr’s hand. Zephyr gently kisses the top of her head, softly whispering to her as Luke stitches up her skin.
“Sarah you’re good. Good job at handling it.” He says softly before retreating back to the others, explaining Sarah’s state of being. She sits up, Zephyr sitting behind her as she leans against his chest.
“Zephyr I am sorry. You were right, I shouldn't have gone over there. I am an idiot.” She says sadly, looking down.
Zephyr scoffs, “You didn't know, you were curious. You’re here, and alive. Maybe not in the best state, but alive, and that is all we could ask for. Now you need to rest. Go to sleep, I will be right here when you fall asleep, and when you wake up, I promise.” He says. *There you go again Zephyr, saying you promise! Is that all you can do? Promise? You don’t know if you’re going to make it out alive, so stop acting like you do know!* Zephyr wraps four towels around her body, because she is only in a Bikini. He feels her shiver, and he wraps his arms around her body, only drawing her closer, making her warmer. He rests his chin a top of her head. *Tomorrow we will get food, draw everyone together, and make base. Away from the water, and away from the forest… How is this going to work?* Zephyr began thinking to himself of what to do. Eventually he closes his eyes as well, drifting off into sleep, dreaming that all of this is one sick nightmare. *Sorry to burst your bubble pretty boy. It aint no nightmare. This is the harsh reality.*
-Chapter Four-
Sun trickles into Sarah’s eyes as her eyelids fluttered open. She shifts ever so slightly and winces, biting her lip to keep from yelling out. Her eyes trail down to her leg and she sighs sadly, the events from last night scaring her. She looks around noticing Zack is missing. She begins to breathe heavily and she feels hands going up and down her arms.
“Hey baby girl are you okay?” Zephyr asks with an obvious yawn. His words are slightly slurred from just waking up, but they still calm Sarah down none the less.
“We’re missing Zack. I’m scared.” She says, her eyes showing clear, and obvious fear. Zephyr struggles to sit up, and when he does, he props Sarah up against him softly. Sarah leans her head back against his bare, muscled chest. Zephyr softly puts his chin on the top of her head. He heaves out an aggravated sigh.
“It’s okay. “We’ll find him, after we set up camp, and get you better. Speaking of which, how are you feeling, better at all?” He says, shifting his body to rub his eyes. He groans and stands up.
“I am feeling better, I think I may be able to walk on my own.” Sarah says, standing up, taking Zephyr’s hand at first. He lets go and she falls, her leg giving in. Zephyr, with his quick reactions, catches her and she grunts.
“Obviously you aren't okay.” Zephyr says with his prize winning, sexy grin.
“No really?! Thank you Sherlock I had no freaking clue! How in SAM HECK did you find out?!” Sarah gasps, wide eyed and in a sarcastic manor.
“Errr… Maybe… Just maybe you falling into my arms… Just a guess.” He answers playfully. Sarah rolls her eyes, scowling at that. Zephyr picks Sarah up bridal style and walks to the others.
“Drama Queen!” A feminine voice coughs out, literally coughs out. A girl with bleach blond hair and gorgeous light green eyes named Aradessa walks out, the crowd making a pathway for her, in envy, or in awe. Aradessa has always liked Zephyr, and still does. Aradessa purposely sways her hips in an eye-catching manor as her breasts bounce slightly as she walks over. Zephyr stays loyal, to Sarah and he keeps his eyes on her face and she scowls angrily.
“Why would you want to go out with some stupid marine like her, instead of a beautiful, hot, gorgeous model like me?” She asks Zephyr, with a flip to her straight blond hair. Sarah’s eyes became glassy and her throat became dry. Zephyr felt her sadness, and felt her get tense and thought quickly, his mind racing.
“Because this “stupid marine” fought for our country, and she isn't stupid. She is much, much smarter, prettier, braver, and nicer than you’ll ever be. She is a true at heart model in my eyes.” He says. Aradessa’s eyes widen and Zephyr pushes passed her, Sarah flipping her off as he walked away.
Zephyr gently kisses the top of her head. ”Baby girl you know I’ll never leave you. I plan on marrying you. You’re my, and only my Russian Princess.” He murmurs into her hair. Sarah’s cheeks flare red in a blush.
“I know, I love you Zephyr.” She whispers. Sarah closes her eyes and rests her head on his bare chest.
“I love you too, now lets start building camp?” Zephyr suggests.
“Sure! What should I do?” She asks calmly.
“You m’dear, are going to sit in this makeshift lawn chair and drink your pink lemonade under this umbrella.” He says happily. Sarah’s eyes widen in astonishment.
“When did you have time to make this?!” She exclaims as he sets her down gingerly.
“I couldn't fall asleep so I made this for you. By the way, we recovered some of your clothes and they’re hanging, more like laying on the rocks over there drying.” He says pointing to the large gray rocks with the dark sparkling blue waves with foam at the tips crashing against the rocks. A light breeze whisks Zephyr’s hair to the right, him rocking the bed head look, like always. Sarah’s hair a big rat’s nests at the moment, like always without proper combing.
“And…” Zephyrs begins, pulling a brush out from behind his back. “I know you hate having your hair un-brushed. Stephanie got it just before it fell into the water.” He informs her. A wide grin showing Sarah’s perfect white teeth forms onto her face as he hands her the brush to her.
“Ohmygosh! Thank you so much! Zephyr! Ohmy! You know me so well! Ahhh! I love you so much!” She exclaims happily, her face brightening up as Zephyr smiles.
“Well…. I am your boyfriend so I would hope I know a lot about you, my girlfriend. I love you too baby girl. A lot.” He says watching her brush her gnarled hair clean. Once she finishes he smiles, draping a towel over her body and softly kisses the top of her head. He gently touches her hand before walking off to get more supplies.
-Chapter Five-
After about an hour, Zephyr returns to Sarah and smiles. He sneaks behind her, knowing she is asleep. He puts his hands on her shoulders quickly, making her jump and scream. Zephyr began laughing and Sarah jumps out of her chair. She whirls around, putting her hands on his chest and shoving him back a little. She scowls at him and walks away angrily. Zephyr chases after her, wrapping his arms around her stomach, whirling her around in a circle. Sarah still not amused crosses her arms over her chest and glares at him.
“C’mon baby girl.” He says smiling.
“Its’ all fun and games until someone gets hurt!” Sarah spits back at him. He is about to answer when a shrill, bone-rattling scream breaks out.
“I’m not done with you!” Zephyr shouts to Sarah as they both sprint to the scene. Eight bodies hung from a tree, all of their throats slit. Sarah’s mouth gapes as she falls to her knees. On the ground there is a note written in blood. ‘Let’s play a game.’ It says. Sarah stands back up, looking at them. They people are Susie, Susan, Brittney, Avrial, Arabella, Bella, Hunter, and Alex. They all hung lifeless, their bodies still, blood dripping slowly from their necks as their eyes are rolled to the back of their head. Zephyr hugs her, but still being mad Sarah jerks out of his arms. A roll of barbed wire wraps around her left ankle and brings her body up, leaving her hanging upside down from a branch. She screams in pain, as she claws at the wire, only cutting up her hands even more, Tears stream down her hot flustered cheeks. Zephyr’s eyes widen horrified as he is frozen in a horrified state. He opens his mouth to talk, but nothing succeeds to come out.
“Zephyr!” Sarah coughs out.
“Babe, all of the blood with rush to your head or you’ll bleed to death. Either way, you will have 45 minutes to live. I will throw you this knife. Catch it and cut yourself down. I swear to God I will catch you!” He shouts up to hr. She nods and Zephyr throws her the knife. Sarah gulps and cuts herself down with a cry of pain. She falls down, down, down, swoosh! Zephyr like he said catches her. He ignores the pain and unwinds her ankle from the barbed wire. Sarah turns into his warm embrace and sobs against his chest. He strokes her hair, running his fingers through her fiery red hair. He sets her down, in a sitting position and takes his shirt off, wrapping it around her ankle to stop the blood loss from progressing. He picks her back up bridal style.
“Shhh baby girl. I got you honey.” He says softly to her.
“I’m so sorry.” She says back between sobs, sadness in her voice. Zephyr nestles his head against her hair.
“Shhh, I know baby girl. I know.” He whispers. Thoughts run through his mind. 'What if I hadn't caught her? What if I didn't have that knife? What if I wasn't there to save her?' Zephyr swallows a lump in his throat, his mouth excruciatingly dry. He stutters back, holding Sarah bridal style. He walks back to their base startled.
“I’m so sorry. I over reacted.” Sarah says, murmuring against his bare chest.
“It’s okay sweetheart.” Zephyr responds. He sets her down on a towel, and falls asleep right then and there next to her.
-Chapter Seven-
"How many dead?" Lucifer's cold, dead voice growls out in question.
"Twelve sir, and counting." Replies his little Demon slave, Aradessa as she bows in respect. He tongue flickers, thin and pointed like a snakes as a thin, black demonic tail slides out from under the back of her shirt, the tip pointed like an arrow.
"Good. Charm more guys with your looks and lead them out to the stream so my Demon children can rip them limb from limb. Slowly." He responds, his cold, dead, gray eyes show thirst for blood and death. Aradessa simply nods, her un-natural features fading away back to normal as she bows once more and she leaves. Lucifer smiles evilly, "They're all dying. No survivors. No mercy." Lucifer's deep voice mumbles with a raspy growl that growls in his massive chest.
-Chapter Eight-
Zephyr wakes up all paranoid and breathing extremely heavily. His eyes are bloodshot and looking around wickedly, frantically. For Sarah. He glances down doing a double take to see her... Gone. What?! Gone?! He does a kip to get up quickly and runs to the beach. He heaves out a breath when he sees her sitting on a rock. She is hugging her knees to her chest as her fiery red hair billows behind her as her ice blue eyes shine like iced over crystals. Zephyr's eyes narrow slightly, something is wrong. Her eyes, aren't just shining, they are glassy, sad, and they look slightly puffy and red around the rims. Little streaks gleam in the sunlight prove that she has been crying. Her hands are shaking slightly and are holding a bloody knife as she slowly raises it to her neck. Her wrists are bleeding heavily but she doesn't seem to acknowledge the heavy flow of red liquid rolling down her arms, dripping off of her elbow and flowing at a steady stream into the dark blue sparkling water beneath her. Zephyr's eyes widen as the knife is almost to her knife and more tears flow down her hot, flustered cheeks. He sprints as fast as his legs would take him up to her, knocking the knife out of her hand as it lodges itself into the sand below them. Sarah cries heavier now, but still silent as he hugs her from behind as she cries. "Shhh baby. It'll be okay." He murmurs soothingly into her ear as he began to take his shirt off, ripping it in half. Sarah leans back against his bare chest, her head resting against his heavily built body as his eight pack flexes against her back. Zephyr proceeds in wrapping his shirt around her arms to stop the heavy bleeding.
"I just want to die already." She bawls out sadly, tears choking back any other words trying to get out.
Aradessa walks out tauntingly, "That can be arranged..." She hisses, her snake like tongue flickering. Her eyes turn completely black and black ripped black bat wings proceed in unfurling out of her back, tearing holes in her shirt. A sudden wave of nausea hits Zephyr and Sarah, causing them to black out. "Sorry Zephyr, but your girlfriend is coming with me. I will have fun with you later." She hisses seductively with lust as she drags Sarah away.
-Chapter Nine-
Zephyr wakes up with a sickly feeling as an agonized groan escapes his mouth. He rubs his head as black dots fade from his vision. The previous events make him sit up quickly as his mind drifts to Sarah. Sarah! Where is she?! He bunches up all of his sore muscles and he does a pathetic excuse of a kip to wobbly get to his feet. As soon as he is standing he runs into the forest searching frantically for the love of his life, his little Russian princess, Sarah. After about thirty minutes he sees drag marks in the sand. His eyes widen, as they glitter with hope and passion. He follows the tracks like a love struck idiot deeper into the forest. He catches something moving out of the corner of his left eyes, but pays no mind, thinking it's just a deer. Next thing he knows, is that he is hit hard on the head with a blunt object and he falls to the evil clutches of the darkness as his eye lids gently flutter shut and his body goes limp into the unconscious state.
-Chapter Ten-
Sarah groans, rubbing her head as she wakes up, her eyes fluttering open, finding her nose is stuffed. She groans, sounding like she is sick and shivers in pain as she realizes she is naked and her mind instantly goes to thinking of the worst. Wincing, she stands up, out of her own pool of blood that surrounded her head. She finds her clothes in a corner and in a sloppy pile. She rushes over to them and tugs them on weakly, looking around for a door and doesn't find one. She puts her hand on the cold, wet, gray wall and walks around the room, feeling all of the walls for a secret latch. Her nimble fingers hit a ledge and her eyes widen in astonishment. Without any hesitation she pulls the heavy full metal door open without a sound. She peeks around several corners before escaping out undetected, continuing out into the forest in immense, throbbing pain. Her eyes dart weakly everywhere for any sign of life. Her eyes hold fright as their color is an electric blue with streaks of silver that looks like lightning in her eyes. Her beautiful eyes spot a girl, who appears to look like... Aradessa?! She is dragging her limp, unconscious boyfriend away towards where she just escaped. Her eyes instantly narrow, turning extremely dark blue, almost black as all the pain left her body and changed to rage. She runs and tackles her to the ground with all of her power and force she began to punch the living crap out of her. She breaks her nose easily, adding two black eyes and puffy lips as well. Aradessa groans with a smirk as she shoves her off, and into a tree. Sarah cries out in pain as her eyes flicker to an awakening Zephyr. Without a second thought he springs forward, shoving Aradessa onto a big stick. The stick plunges through her chest, piercing her heart as blood flows out of her mouth and her eyes roll to the back of her head. Sarah watches her go limp before crawling into Zephyr's open and welcoming arms as they coil tightly, protectively around her. She lets out all of her tears as he hugs her tightly, resting his chin a top of her head softly. Zephyr is extremely tense and angry. "Shhh baby girl. I know. I'm sorry." He murmurs against her beautiful, fiery red hair which has dried blood coated all over it and in it. *Damn it Zephyr! You weren't there when she needed you most! You moron! You're a failure to her! You're an idiot!" He screams over and over at himself mentally. Sarah shudders in his arms and she continues to sob. Zephyr spots a cave and he carries his love with him to it and walks to the back of the unoccupied cave. He lays her down as he lays behind her, hugging her from behind. She turns to face him, pressing as close as she can against him, slowly falling asleep surrounded by his warmth. "I love you my baby girl. So much. Goodnight." He whispers, kissing the top of her head, holding her tight to him as he refuses to sleep, but sleep pulls him down under.Nyx
So much. Goodnight." He whispers, kissing the top of her head, holding her tight to him as he refuses to sleep, but sleep pulls him down under.
So much. Goodnight." He whispers, kissing the top of her head, holding her tight to him as he refuses to sleep, but sleep pulls him down under.
